“An exhilarating stage of the Gwangdae—raise the curtain!” As the National Jeongdong Theater Company, led by Soonbaek, prepares 2025 Sochundae Yuhui—a revival of a 1902 Hyeopyulsa performance—the lights suddenly fail and the audience flees in panic. Stranded mid-rehearsal, Soonbaek hums a single line of song, and the air inside the theater turns uncanny. The space itself shifts. Through a fracture where time and place collapse, a century—and a century of Gwangdae—surges into the present. Amid the unbelievable spectacle, a mysterious child appears before the stunned Soonbaek…
